WWE Latest News & Updates: Vince McMahon Selling Wrestling Brand If ‘The Price Is Right’

Vince McMahon is a businessman and at 70, it may come to a point where he would weigh his options moving forward. He does have children to succeed the WWE, but if it all boils down to money, he is open to anything.

That pretty much sums up his answer when asked if he would be open to selling the WWE in the future, Fortune reported. This comes after the WWE CEO sold .155 million Class A shares roughly amounting to $32.5 million during a WWE earnings call.

How would the WWE look under new management?
A good example for a potential WWE sale could be the plight of the UFC. The group was WME/ IMG for $4 billion though Dana White remained a top dog. For the WWE, it could follow the same route only that this is a family-owned company.

Triple H could stay on and maybe Stephanie McMahon. Incidentally, Stephanie recently renewed her contract that will last up to 2019. She is the company’s Chief Brand Officer and acts as commission for RAW, Yahoo reported.

Pride could get in the way meaning Stephanie or maybe even Shane McMahon would not want any part of the company. It would be an awkward scenario seeing her take orders from someone else but her dad. Triple H could stay on, a WWE figure who has obviously served his father-in-law well.

Vince McMahon's only condition

In that dish by Vince McMahon, he did have one condition – that is that the WWE controls its destiny. Technically it sounds like while ownership would pass, the managing group would still be the same people as we speak.

That condition could depend on the one’s interested to buy the WWE. It may be a long shot but the WWE is open to any interested buyer for as long as the price is right and the managing group remains.
