Google Pixel Vs iPhone 7: The Tests That Proved Apple Is Still Unbeatable; Google Pixel and Pixel XL Bootloader Issues Persist?

Google Pixel is reportedly the hottest new flagship Android smartphone model in the world today. Although Pixel and Pixel XL versions come in sleek design and provide solid specs, Android fans are believed to be looking for a new performance lead this holiday season, but could not find so with the Pixel lineup. Based on the results of another performance test, it was found that iPhone 7 outperforms the Android phone from Google.

The new Google Pixel has failed to perform well against the iPhone lineup based on the raw benchmark scores, achieving 1565 on Geekbench's single-core test versus iPhone 7 Plus' 3488. As for the multi-core test, Pixel scored 4103 while iPhone got 5590. But on Wednesday, the much awaited test on the real-world performance was released, and once again, iPhone reportedly defeated the new flagship phablet of Google.

According to reports, Octane 2.0 of Google is a benchmark test which specifically measures a smartphone or computer's JavaScript performance, which is a popular programming language widely utilized in web apps and across the web. These scores prove the strength of Apple's A10 Fusion chipset and the efficiency of the Safari browser and iOS, that once again illustrate a big difference between Google Pixel and the iPhone lineup.

Google Pixel's performance test scores against the iPhone 7 lineup has started to take the shape of what has been expected by some experts. The iPhone lineup has been reportedly impressive in terms of specs, although optimization and efficiency are believed to be Apple's expertise. Given that, both the software and hardware of the company continue to outperform the rivals, BGR reported.

Meanwhile, Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones that were bought from Verizon have reportedly been denied of bootloader unlocked. This is in contrast to the tech company's previous announcement regarding the feature that is being offered from its store. However, Verizon has been outsmarted in that aspect as developers have reported to be successful in breaking its bootloader.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones developers 'jcase" and "beeps" at XDA, who are also responsible for the Sunshine bootloader unlock tool, are claiming to have found a way to snoop the bootloader in the Verizon Pixel smartphones open, according to report.
