Considering the iPhone 7 is merely a month old, rumors regarding the iPhone 8 are already looming above Apple's innovative abode. According to speculations, the iPhone 8 will be sporting an all-glass exterior. There are also hearsays that Apple's new lovechild will have three available variants.
In line with that, Robert Scoble's, UploadVR's Entrepreneur in Residence, description of what the iPhone 8 will look like is rather wildly impossible. In his statement, Scoble described the new iPhone the likes of technological advancements that the world hasn't been introduced or has been used to yet.
The iPhone 8, according to predictions, will have the next-gen OLED screen. The metal glass casing will be ditched and the exterior will be made entirely of glass. The clear iPhone is capable of putting up holograms, the likes of Microsoft HoloLens.
While all these iPhone 8 features seem too good to be true, Zach Epstein, a well-known Apple reporter, hurriedly dismissed the rumors. He stated on BGR that Apple has invested far too much in the current form factor to make such revolutionary jumps.
With Epstein's statement, this leaves Apple fans still clueless whether the iPhone 8 will be released next year, or in the near future. However, Apple CEO Tim Cook on his interview with AppleInsider stated that the demand for the current iPhone models is still on a roll. Cook said that iPhone 7 sales are still at an all time high and would probably reach equilibrium when 2016 ends. The iPhone 7 Plus isn't far behind either.
What would be more possible for a 2017 release is the iPhone SE, rather than the coveted iPhone 8. The SE was announced in March, which is basically somewhat similar to the iPhone 5s but with more spunk, so to speak. This leaves iPhone 8 hopefuls rather disappointed; but considering the masses' positive response to the iPhone 7, Apple is still the top game changer in the world of smartphones.
