The spin-off film of "Harry Potter" entitled "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is one of the most anticipated movies to come this year. The movie is expected to be released next month -- on November 18 to be exact. "Fantastic Beasts" will also be having a total of five sequels.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is expected to reach more than $75 million revenue in its opening weekend. But, the movie might not exceed the previous "Harry Potter" films. The "Half-Blood Prince" and "The Order of The Phoenix" has reached $77 million in its opening weekends.
The last two sequels of "Harry Potter" movie series had the highest hit. According to a report from IGN, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" Part 2 had $169.2 million opening while the Part 1 had $125 million. Can the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" beat this?
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" has a low opening weekend. Reports say that this might be because of the five year absence of the last "Harry Potter" film. Other reason is that the three leading characters in "Harry Potter" Harry, Ron, and Hermione will not be making an appearance in the spin-off.
