'Civilization VI' Release Date, Review and Updates: New Installment Offers New and Better Gaming Experience to Players

After the release of "Civilization VI" last week, players and fans of the game have nothing bad to say to the newest game installment. Fans are all praises to the release especially to the exciting additions to the game.

Game developer Firaxis Games has received great reviews for coming up with a well-thought of installment six years after the original game was released. What amused players were the new things introduced in the game.

Additions for 'Civilization VI'

Included in these additions are the Districts. These points on the map are comprised by city buildings which are now revealed to the players. Those places that were hidden before are now properly plotted on the map of "Civilization VI."

Also, there are major changes for ideology and government. There are now policies as you progress with the game and they are great for the players to track their type of government.

Great reviews

A review of "Civilization VI" also revealed that the game is one of the best launches of the franchise. "Many of those are smartly revamped versions of Civ classics, but it finds its own identity with great new ideas like spread-out cities, customizeable governments, research boosts and leader agendas," said IGN's Dan Stapleton.

He, however, said that the AI of "Civilization VI" still needs some work but was quick to say that it can already suffice to still be one of the best video games there is. Stapleton also said that it could also be a great game for tablets if it runs smoothly just like it does on a personal computer.

Where to buy?

It has been rated with 5 or 4 stars by many gaming afficionados because of its great graphics and the amount of planning poured into the game. "Civilization VI" can be purchased for $59.96 on Amazon.
