Everyone knows that Lady Gaga reigns supreme in belting out notes that are loud and high but she has recently shown her fun side as she goes for James Corden's Carpool Karaoke segment. The pop star did not disappoint and showed everyone once again who is supreme as she shows her energy, her musical prowess and Corden's attempt to mimic some of her antics and her weirdest outfits.
Carpool Karaoke has been loved by viewers of the "Late Late Show" and it has hosted a lot of popular guests before including Adele, some Broadway stars and the FLOTUS. Vanity Fair reports that while James Corden could be the guy who could get along very easily with almost anyone, his chemistry with Lady Gaga was absolutely perfect. Some viewers even considered this episode as one of the best yet in the Carpool Karaoke segment.
The episode begins with the pair casually cruising around the city with Corden taking the wheel. They proceed to sing to some of Lady Gaga's original tunes such as "Perfect Illusion," "Bad Romance," and "Poker Face" among many others. They also hint at Lady Gaga's upcoming NFL Superbowl halftime performance and some snippets at Lady Gaga's personal life.
Lady Gaga reveals how she keeps up with lyric writing and how she sings; some of her most popular songs were written in just ten minutes. She also reveals that she owns a lot, over 400, of Michael Jackson's clothes which include a "Thriller" jacket and one of Michael Jackson's gloves.
E! Online writes that while Lady Gaga might already have her license by now, she needs more practice based on how she drove when she took the wheel for a while. She had some trouble with swerving and managing controls and later even reveals that she could not see that well.
While Lady Gaga is looking quite fabulous nowadays, she was known for dressing in a strikingly unusual manner once upon a time. Here, James Corden tries on some of her most popular outfits such as the yellow tape suit which he randomly wraps around himself and the meat dress made of salami and ham where he helps himself to.
