Even hardened thugs in "Grand Theft Auto V" are hitching the Halloween bandwagon and getting spooky themes in time for the season.
Rockstar announced that they will unleash new content for "Grand Theft Auto 5" on Friday, Oct 5, to join Halloween mayhem. It is unclear whether offline gamers can grab these Halloween themes because only those using online mode was confirmed so far. Think of cool LCC Sanctus bike with skull headlight and flame-red bright eyes instead of regular automotive lamps. Then coupled with a rider wearing a psycho mask to complete the spooky get up.
According to Game Spot, "Grand Theft Auto 5" Halloween special doesn't end with plain skins but there is a good update to go loco as well. There is a mode called "Lost Vs. Damned" where characters were portrayed as angels and demons in grand battle as if it is Armageddon. A good twist to this gameplay is day and night cycle that changes every minute. Since angels are children of light, they get stronger during day while devils take advantage of night.
Rockstar also confirmed that they are rounding up some of the spooky vehicles from last year's "Grand Theft Auto 5" Halloween event. They will incorporate some of them for next week's season. At any rate, Friday is not a long wait so expect this trick or treat event coming after a blink.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Newswire reported that the developer is giving away in-game currency of GTA$250,000 for "Grand Theft Auto 5" gamers who will log on to their accounts until Oct 31. It is part of three-year anniversary celebration and gamers could expect their reward deposited at Maze Bank by Nov 4th. The said announcement named gamer at PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as beneficiaries.
The same announcement stressed that Rockstar is happy with "Grand Theft Auto 5" online mode reception. Though it initially suffered setbacks during launching in early October, gamers still embraced the title so GTA$250,000 is a way to show gratitude.
