Eutechnyx, developer of “NASCAR The Game: Inside Line,” say the game just received the first round of DLC on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that brings new content to the game.
The new DLC is in support of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and features challenges from this year's NASCAR races. The DLC also includes new Gen 6 paint jobs for all 43 drivers.
“Using telemetry data to authentically recreate the top moments from NASCAR 2013 Sprint Cup Series races, players have the opportunity to Relive and Rewrite all the iconic action from the season,” the official page states. “Inside Line Highlight packs will be released weekly throughout the season, covering the Great American Race - the Daytona 500, and racing till the epic finale at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.”
The developer states that weekly installments will be available after each race up to the Homestead-Miami Speedway finale, and that fans will be able to access the new content via the in-game menus.
In the Highlights menu, players will have a toggle to select highlights from 2011, 2012 and 2013. Next, when and if the player selects a 2013 highlight that he doesn’t own, another prompt will appear asking if the player wishes to purchase that content.
The DLC can be purchased using the in-game Ticket currency, and while each individual Inside Line Highlight pack will cost 20 Tickets, individual paint schemes will require 10 Tickets.
The DLC includes the following packs:
- Daytona 500 Pack
- Subway Fresh Fit 500 Pack
- Kobalt Tools 400 Pack
- Auto Club 400 Pack
There will also be the brand new Chevrolet SS, Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry Gen 6 models available for download alongside an officially licensed 2013 season paint scheme for each driver, which allows players to race online and in selected single player modes – excluding career and season.
The DLC Season Pass can be purchased for $24.99 or 2000 Microsoft Points.
