Two years after the game got released, Hyrule Warriors is not seeing the end of its life in the gaming scene. In the upcoming week, they will be releasing a new DLC that would add new characters, a map and some costumes. The appearing heroes will be of 'The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds' origins.
The Zelda spinoff DLC is going by the name 'A Link Between Worlds', named after the featured game. The two characters that would be making an appearance are Ravio the shopkeeper and Yuga, an antagonist from Zelda, according to Gematsu. However, in Hyrule Warriors, they will be having different roles. Ravio would no longer be renting out items but would use some of them in battle, including the Hammer, Ice Rod, Boomerang, and Bombs. Yuga is much more straightforward with his wand as his only weapon.
Along with them, a new map is going to be in the upcoming DLC. It is for 'Hyrule Warriors' adventure mode that is based on the dark world counterpart of the game's original map, Lorule, reported by Gamespot. There will be specials for the two new characters when using the map, this includes additional hearts and high-ranked weapons. Other additional content includes 17 new costumes and 15 new Fairy Wear outfits.
'Hyrule Warriors' 'A Link Between Worlds' DLC will be released in the upcoming week, October 31 for both the Wii U and 3DS in Japan, North America and Europe should also be expecting it on the same day. It is expected that the additional content will further increase the community around the game.
'Hyrule Warriors' scores an 8 with Gamespot and has received a lot of good criticism during its release. The expectations for the upcoming DLC is no less, the same with the other versions and updates released for the game in the past.
