Players adventuring in the realm of Tamriel, you're in for a treat. "Elder Scrolls Online" got a big patch for the game called One Tamriel that includes a whole bunch of new features for those playing the MMO.
The One Tamriel patch, applicable to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players of "Elder Scrolls Online," mainly allows everyone to play everywhere at any time, according to its official website. This is done by scaling in a dynamic manner, letting players of any level go on adventures and quests with one another in the game. Players also won't have to consider alliances any longer, thanks to this new update.
Gameplay changes in One Tamriel, which is a free update to "Elder Scrolls Online," include increased loot drop rate, a Veteran difficulty for dungeons, and new weapon ultimates. In addition to that, a whole host of new item sets, achievements, motifs, and Monster Masks have been included in the patch.
Also included in One Tamriel is the ability for players to group up in bigger numbers and guilds. It seems as though "Elder Scrolls Online" is completely getting rid of any restrictions, for some reason, as you can form groups regardless of alliance. The game will also no longer restrict where you can go based on your level, as it seems it will scale all enemies in all locations. It's not sure how much of an impact this will have on balance and gameplay, as other MMOs have restrictions for a reason.
"Elder Scrolls Online" hasn't been performing that well as an entry in the crowded MMO genre, necessitating a rebrand as "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," according to GameSpot. It's no longer a monthly subscription game, instead opting to be a free-to-play MMO with microtransactions. The One Tamriel patch also released on the PC earlier this month. "Elder Scrolls Online" Halloween-themed event is called the Witches' Festival.
