Apple is highly expected to unveil a redesigned MacBook Pro 2016 along with a 13-inch MacBook Air on October 27. The features upgrades, however, are still left untold. But one report claims that the speculated OLED touch bar feature is officially confirmed to be included and will be called the Magic Toolbar.
Based on the report of MacRumors, Brian Conroy, a well-known tech trademark watcher, dug up a trademark filing owned by Presto Apps America LLC. The said technology is designed for a mystery device and will be marketed as Magic Toolbar. Conroy is certain that the said feature will be included to the new MacBook model.
Moreover, Conroy stated that Presto Apps America LLC is Apple and the Magic Toolbar patented by the company is the OLED touch bar, which has been reported as one of the major feature upgrades of the MacBook Pro 2016. If this is true, the Magic Toolbar will replace the conventional function keys.
Apart from that, the Trademark genius also pointed out that he found the same names, which are responsible for the patent filings of the Airpod and Magic Toolbar. This further support his conclusion that Apple is only using the Presto Apps America LLC as a front.
Meanwhile, the giant tech company is considering to reveal both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 laptops with retina displays anytime in November. Based on the report of Bloomberg, Apple is making a totally new pro laptop packed with new features. These include the OLED mini screen above the keyboard as well as a Touch ID sensor.
More so, the new MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to be much lighter and thinner. However, it is not wedge-shaped, unlike the the MacBook Air. It is also expected that the bezels around its display to be smaller including the overall frame of the laptop. Watch a video about the new Apple Macbook Pro to feature OLED Touch Bar?
