The fourth season of the historically based TV series, "Reign" is coming back to reveal more exciting story plot centered in the life of the young, brave, and determined Queen Mary of Scots. Played by Adelaide Kane, Queen Mary had just left France, and will head back to Scotland to rule her own people.
"Reign" Season 3 depicted a temporary defeat for Queen Mary when her husband, King Francis died. When the brother of Francis became king of France, Mary had no reason to stay but to leave France. Determined to move on her life, she decided to go back to Scotland.
The life of Mary in Scotland will not only bring her enemies who are plotting for her downfall as reported by Gamenguide, but she will also have to find a husband that can secure her throne. It is reported that Lord Darnely is the second husband of Mary but he will die after their one year of marriage.
The role of Mary have changed in "Reign" Season 4, as she will be seen as more independent, self-sufficient, and determined to take care of her self, Entertainment Weekly reports. As much as Queen Mary would want to rely on her own strength to rule her kingdom, this can't be done without having a king.
In "Reign" Season 4, Mary will be seen to be married to Bothwell. It is reported that Mary will be forced to Marry Bothwell. She has no choice but to agree with the marriage for the sake of protecting the crown. However, fans will have to wait for 2017 for the premiere of "Reign" Season 4.
