Those who are waiting for a SIM card-less iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus can finally get their hands on the latest of Apple's smartphone line. The iPhone 7, which came out last month to less enthusiastic response in the tech community compared to its predecessors, will now be on a more secure footing in the market as Apple's rival, Samsung, had a rather bad few weeks in the PR department.
According to Gizmodo, iPhone 7 users will no longer need to bring their newly-bought devices to a specific carrier and will instead have a choice as to which carrier they want to use as unlocked iPhones are now available. These iPhones, however, will only be eligible for the 18-month special financing and not Apple's Upgrade Program.
This iPhone 7 news comes a few days after Quartz reported that jet black iPhone 7s are now back in the market in the United States after a massive demand depleted stocks. Not all stores in the United States and Canada, however, carry this very popular iPhone 7 color so prospective buyers may want to check first in the iStore online.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus was announced in an Apple industry event on Wednesday, September 7. Both iPhone were then released on Friday, September 16 worldwide. The SIM-free iPhone 7 models will be delivered to the doorsteps of those who ordered by next week. GameNGuide will be covering more on any updates on the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and other Apple products in the coming weeks and months.
