Apple iPad Pro 2 is one of the highly expected devices of 2016. It was expected to be revealed in September but fans were only treated to Apple's flagship phone iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The Cupertino company has not revealed anything regarding the device and this has kept fans thinking, guessing and discussing in numerous online forums.
Rumors have kept circulating and they seem to suggest that the Apple iPad pro 2 could be released in three variants. Apart from the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 tablets, another 10.5-inch model is also being developed by Apple. However, many experts claimed that Apple will replace the 9.7-inch variant with the 10.5-inch version. The older variants are also set to be upgraded, reports The Guardian.
The Apple iPad Pro 2 is expected to be powered by Apple's latest chipset, A10X. The chipset has been produced by TSMC and is rumored to be way more powerful than its predecessor.
Contrary to other iPad Pro devices, the upcoming Apple iPad Pro 2 will see a 20 percent increase in performance as a result of the processor. However, the basic model may still be powered by the A9X processor, writes Know Your Mobile. A flexible AMOLED panel could also be in the works.
If reports are to be believed, the iPad Pro 2 will come decked with four speakers, highly upgraded Apple Pencil and True Tone Display. The True Tone Display will make the device's screen to automatically adjust the color temperature depending on the environment.
The Apple iPad pro 2 may also come with an IP68 certification that would make it dust and water-resistant. It will be interesting to see if Apple decides to keep the 3.5mm headphone jack or drops it.
The iPad Pro 2 may also feature 3D Touch functionality along with a Smart Connector. An improved battery will make the device last up to 10 hours. The device is expected to pack a 12MP rear/5MP front camera and 5K Display with a screen resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels.
