Although fans might find the $30 difference a bit harsh for its class, it is important to know that the Ti variant of the new GPU has a 4GB DDR5 memory, while the base model GTX 1050 only has half of that. The GTX 1050 Ti also has more CUDA cores than GTX 1050 at 768 compared to the latter's 640.

According to reports, the new GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti GPUs will arrive with more power and more efficient than the GeForce GTX 750 Ti. According to GameSpot, "Out of the box, the GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti are both blazing fast, with the GTX 1050 Ti on average 40 percent faster and more than 128 percent more power efficient than the closest competitive product at stock speeds."
