The alleged "Destiny 2" is far from coming, but rumors online suggest, it will feature a different concept that looks far beyond the future of the series. The sequel is expected to arrive with a totally overhauled gameplay. Not that the previous was not a success, but in preparation of a larger content that sees a more solid future for the title.
The highly talked about blank canvass means, despite having a weird relationship a big game such as Destiny has a totally different meaning. In "Destiny 2," fans can expect the accommodating way, the developer wants to receive input from players. According to Breathecast, spaces in "Destiny 2" will be included in order to allow players activities, systems, outposts and towns in the different areas of the game.
Currently, Activision is contemplating on the possibility of starting a brand new game for "Destiny 2." The concept of taking some parts of the original game seem too much work, but if needed, they will. Meanwhile, others suggest that, the sequel will be the final destination of all the game's DLC and expansions, all hailed to receive more updates.
PCAdvisor on the other hand recently reported that, aside from the already released expansion of the game; Rise of Iron, the sequel will also happen in 2017. In an investor note, featured on the website, it said "Activision Publishing, along with its partners at Bungie, expects to bring a large new expansion to Destiny in 2016 and to release a full game sequel in 2017."
Currently, over 25 million player login has accumulated at least three billion hours of Destiny game time. The number solidly increases over time and is expected to rise even more when "Destiny 2" arrives.
