Many tech fans were quite happy when Apple decided to launch the new Apple Watch 2 during the company's iPhone 7 event in September. Now, several reports have emerged suggesting that the Cupertino based company will soon start focusing on the development and release of a new tech watch dubbed as Apple Watch 3. Fans are now pretty excited to know more about what the device will offer once it comes out in the market.
Apparently, Apple has already filed a patent application at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and it shows that the American tech giant is planning to incorporate gesture control on its upcoming Apple Watch 3. This new feature would certainly be a huge improvement from its current Apple Watch 2, which also has several amazing features on its own. According to the patent report, the feature will allow users to use wrist motions to control the wearable device. The description stated that "the interpretation is based in part on the detected force and in part on whether the user's arm is in motion; and invoking a function of the wrist-worn device based on the wrist gesture."
Although Apple has yet to provide the official details of its development and release date, fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the company makes a big announce with regard to its new project. With the current success of the recently released Apple Watch 2, it would not be surprising if Apple decides to roll out the new Apple Watch 3 earlier than expected.
Meanwhile, according to a report by MacWorld, Apple is currently concentrating on bringing new software for its current Apple Watch 2. Several sources are saying that the company will soon launch the new watchOS 4 sometime in 2017.
If rumors prove to be true, the upcoming Apple Watch 3 will most likely arrive with the new updated operating system. Stay tuned for more news and updates about the current Apple Watch 2 and the upcoming Apple Watch 3.
