The newest Freddy game was released this past month and its developers are already releasing its first DLC pack very, very soon. "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" is the latest successor to the sleeper-hit video game franchise, and the already scary title is about to get a little more terrifying.
According to iDigital Times, a new teaser trailer just dropped, revealing a new DLC pack which is slated to be free of charge. As a teaser, it only reveals a small peak on the content to come for "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."
As per Scott Cawthon's official Twitter account, theories of what this new teaser image could mean are running rampant across the gaming community. One of the more prevalent theories claims that the "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" could be getting the infamous Night Mode into its gameplay.
As fans of the game know all too well, this custom Night Mode has been added to previous installments of the series. The mode ramped up the difficulty to horrifyingly challenging levels, making it even more a claustrophobic experience as players did their best to survive the night. If rumors are to be believed, players will be able to adjust the mode to their liking, allowing for fully customizable difficulty of the game. Beating the possible Night Mode challenge on "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" could also reveal more story details as a reward to the battle-tested player.
Fans have also clamored for the game to answer any potentially remaining lore questions that have not been addressed in the game or in previous iterations. This free DLC update might provide fans some light to the mysterious origins and ghastly events that surround "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location."
However, fans should take this with a grain of salt as these are simply rumors. No release date has been confirmed for the update but expect it to come around Halloween. "Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location" is now available to play on PC with mobile versions expected to be released down the road.
