"James Bond" 007's Daniel Craig is still very willing to do a new installment for the movie classic. This statement of the 007-actor in the New Yorker Festival is in contrast with what he said during his previous interviews. Hence, avid fans will surely be looking forward for another sequel.
Daniel Craig Said 'Yes' For Movie's Return?
After Daniel Craig's last movie with the whole "James Bond" production, according to The Guardian, he clearly made a statement that he will no longer be doing any of its follow-up projects. During the "Spectre" press tour, he was asked if he can still do another film for the secret agent's avid fans and he quickly claimed that he'd rather cut his wrist. But, after a year of vacation, it seems that the 48-year-old actor had a change of heart.
In the New Yorker festival press activity, Daniel Craig was invited to discuss the projects that he's currently working on and ended up talking about the secret agent franchise. He was asked if he can still do another sequel of the said film and he said "as far as I'm concerned, I've got the best job in the world," Time reported.
Furthermore, he humbly said that he loves his job and will continuously do the movie's franchise as long as he still has "a kick out of it." For sure, Daniel Craig's statement made the Bond's producers Callum McDougall, Michael G Wilson, and Barbara Broccoli happy and excited. Several reports said that creators of the movie classic were really hoping for his comeback. The 007-actor was the producer's first choice to lead the movie.
Meanwhile, while Naomi Harris is promoting her "Moonlight," she said that she strongly believes Daniel Craig will still lead the next "James Bond" movies. She also added that she'll bet $5 for it as she claimed it for sure, Yahoo reported. Though the actress admitted that she doesn't know anything about what's going to happen to the next sequel, she's very firm on saying that the actor will make his comeback for the franchise.
