Fans are going frenzy as new details for "Injustice 2" surfaced online. Latest reports suggest that the highly-anticipated game will be released sometime in March. What's more amazing perhaps are suggestions of Captain Cold being included in the second installment. Will this theory hold true?
Captain Cold Returns For 'Injustice 2'
NetherRealm Studios' creative director Ed Boon is busy creating polls for "Injustice 2," which brought many of the theories and speculations making rounds on the Internet. On his official Twitter account, Boon created a poll asking fans what they mostly want to see in "Injustice 2" with Blue Beetle, Captain Cold and Swamp Things as options. Results show that Captain Cold got the lowest score with 26 percent while Blue Beetle ranked first with 39 percent.
However, ESL Mortal Kombat official Twitter account made a follow-up post, promoting "Injustice 2" at the finals of MKX Pro League Season 3. The giveaway shirts show the weapon of Captain Cold, which suggests his inclusion in the game.
GameNGuide previously suggested that "Injustice 2" will be released on March 2017 on different platforms including PC. During the San Diego Comic-Con, Boon himself already confirmed that a PC version is already in the works.

In another poll made by Ed Boon, he asked fans if they would want to see "Injustice 2" as an application on their mobile phones. The question was met with positive response, getting 71 percent votes for a new game app on mobile phones. It remains unknown if the creative director will take this to heart and create a mobile app too.
After three years since the first title was released, fans will get to enjoy "Injustice 2" in a few months time. The second title will reportedly show new environment with RPG style, giving players more chance to explore their surroundings. "Injustice 2" is speculated to be released on Xbox One Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro as well.
