‘Metro: Last Light’: 10 Minutes Of New Gameplay Footage Revealed

“Metro: Last Light” is looking to be a huge release this year. Now there’s more to whet your appetite.

Gamespot put up a lengthy ten minutes gameplay video from “Metro: Last Light” with added commentary from one of the members of the developing team.

The video starts off with the hero Artyom climbing up what’s left of a ladder and heads over to a space where he can see the entire city laying in waste. His mission is to get to a fuel camp across the city in a church. On his way he fights horribly disfigured creatures.

The footage comes from a PC and the graphics look amazing. One team member played the game for about three hours, and says that this new “Metro” title is a “big step up” from "Metro 2033," which was developed by 4A Studios.

He adds there are lots of different mods for weapons to attach this time as the player moves throughout the game, and this storyline picks up from the last game with different factions trying to take over the wasteland

He also mentions that unlike other first-person shooters on the market, this game sports a slower in pace, and encourages exploring.

“Metro: Last Light” is set for release in May 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3.
