‘Fuller House’ Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Kimmy Gibbler Gets New Brother Jimmy; Is He Stephanie's New Brother?

Netflix's "Fuller House" Season 2 will be adding a new member to its kooky Tanner-Gibbler-Gladstone family for when it returns to the small screen on Dec. 9. "Switched at Birth" star Adam Hagenbuch will be joining the Gibbler family as Jimmy, Kimmy's (Andrea Barber) brother.

Hagenbuch's Jimmy is expected to be a male version of Kimmy, and will have a significant recurring guest role on "Fuller House" Season 2. Viewers may recall Hagenbuch for his role as Mingo on Freeform drama "Switched at Birth," as well as his guest star roles on "Undateable" and "Modern Family."

In the original series "Fuller House" during the 1990s, Kimmy had mentioned an older brother, only his name then was Garth. It will certainly be a refreshing thing to see another member of the Gibbler family other than Kimmy herself. Stay tuned for more "Fuller House" Season 2 spoilers!

Is he Stephanie's new boyfriend?

Hagenbuch's new role rings a bell, however. Earlier on, TVLine reported that Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) was going to get a new boyfriend by the name of "Jimmy" on "Fuller House" Season 2. He's described as a gifted singer-songwriter, good-looking and sexy, but also kind of eccentric. Could Hagenbuch's Jimmy be Stephanie's new boyfriend?

Fans would certainly be delighted to see Stephanie with a new beau on "Fuller House" Season 2. She's been through some pretty tough times during "Fuller House" Season 1, particularly when she found out that she couldn't be pregnant at all. Having a boyfriend who's promised to be just as kooky as she is might just offset the bad things that have been happening to her lately.

Apart from Hagenbuch, "Fuller House" Season 2 is packed with several other guest stars and appearances. "Full House" alumni John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) and Bob Saget (Uncle Danny) will be returning to the spinoff series as recurring characters. They will also appear during the show's landmark "Fuller House" Season 2 Thanksgiving episode, which is expected to be extra special.

"Fuller House" inherited its predecessor's tendency to skip holiday episodes, so doing a Thanksgiving episode would certainly be a fresh new take on the popular Netflix show. "Fuller House" Season 2 will be back on Netflix on Dec. 9.
