Just as fans are getting themselves ready for "Prison Break" Season 5, it was revealed that the this season may be the last for the series, and the next installment will only have nine episodes. But is there a chance that "Prison Break" Season 5 will produce more?
'Prison Break' Season 5: Wentworth Miller not ready for show to end?
Just like the fans, Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) has always shown his willingness to add more seasons and episodes for "Prison Break" Season 5. Speaking with Digital Spy, Wentworth Miller revealed that the number of episodes for "Prison Break" Season 5 will be based on ratings.
"The reboot is nine new episodes airing in spring 2017, and then depending on how it's received, and who's available, there could be another conversation about another bite of the apple," Wentworth Miller teased. "We'll see..." Basing on Wentworth Miller's statement, the show is still testing out the waters if "Prison Break" Season 5 will live up to the hype.
"Prison Break" Season 5 creator, Paul Scheuring, already confirmed back in July that "Prison Break" Season 5 is definitely the last installment for the beloved series. Paul Scheuring explained that the nine episodes of "Prison Break" Season 5 will give finality to the whole story.

But since Wentworth Miller hinted that there's still a slight chance for "Prison Break" Season 5 to get more episodes if ratings are good, maybe Paul Scheuring will finally change his mind and give it another go.
