Rockstar Games has yet to announce what new game it has next though a curious move across its social media accounts and websites have spurred something tied up to “Red Dead Redemption 2”. The new version of the logo is seen clad in red, leading many folks to believe that “Red Dead Redemption 2” may be just around the corner.
Misinterpreting new logo for “Red Dead Revolver”?
Rockstar has not officially announced any new game -- not even "Red Dead Redemption 2" as of this writing though there is that release of “Red Dead Revolver” for the PS4 via PSN. There is a chance that the new red logo was meant to help spur up hype for the said game, seeing it is a spin-off of sorts from “Red Dead Redemption”.
“Red Dead Revolver” was actually released in 2004 for the PS2. The new version offers better graphics in 1080p though the game is pretty much the same as the original. It is available from the PlayStation Store for $14.99 in case anyone is interested. So, is "Red Dead Redemption 2" still happening?
Gamers want 'Red Dead Redemption 2', not 'Red Dead Revolver'
While the given explanation for the new red logo could make sense, the fact remains that players prefer to hear something about “Red Dead Redemption 2”, Forbes reported. For a game that came out in 2010, it seems obvious that it will come ahead of anther Rockstar game title, “Grand Theft Auto 6”.
Either way, the change to the red logo across its Facebook, Twitter and official website has gotten many folks thinking though it would be best to hold down expectations. The "Red Dead Redemption 2" game developer could come up with an announcement in the following weeks though even that is uncertain.
“Red Dead Redemption 2” is high on the list of expectations from Rockstar Games though there is no credible lead that this will indeed come out. A ballpark guess would be to see on in the Spring of 2017 though even that is like wishing upon a star for now.
