A lot of fans have been impressed with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and, now, techies all around the world are now very excited to see its new version: the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. The tech-giant did not announce any official statements regarding the official launch of the said device. However, fans strongly believe that it would be released in the upcoming October 26 event together with the announcement of Windows 10 update or the Redstone 2.
But, according to a report from TheVerge, the upcoming event will focus on the Redstone 2 or Windows 10 update and not on the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. If ever Microsoft will launch its newest laptop in the said event, the company will also announce the PC hardware that are capable of supporting the new update of Windows 10.
Several tech companies that are making major announcements and launches this month are surely busy these past few weeks. Companies tend to release its flagship products in the month of October to make sure that its latest products are ready for the market worldwide in the holiday season. Some reports also say that the Cupertino-based company, Apple, will be launching its latest MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 in an event after Microsoft's Windows 10 announcement to compete with the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
However, a report from TechAdvisor states that there is a possibility that there will be no Microsoft Surface Pro 5 that will be launched this year. Report says it might be too early for the laptop to be launched if it will really going to sport the latest Intel's Kaby Lake chipset.
There are also rumors that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will have three different screen sizes: the 27-inch, 24-inch and 21-inch. The laptop might also sport a 4K high resolution display with a 16 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front camera, 16 GB of RAM and the rumored USB Type-C port.
