Entertainment Weekly reported that one of the "Rogue One" digital trading cards showed a tough-looking female X-wing pilot. The blonde appears to be standing beside an aircraft with her helmet at her side. Her identity is unknown, although some fans speculate that she is EvaanVerlain in "Rogue One," an Aldaraanian and confidante of Princess Leia from the comics. Based on the V symbols on her helmet, the lady X-wing pilot has killed numerous enemy fighters, indicating that she is highly experienced in battle.

Another "Rogue One" trading card showed General Merrick, who is rumored to be played by Ben Daniels in "Rogue One." Another card featured Moroff, a Gigoran creature that looks like a Chewbacca's white cousin. Moroff wields a submachinegun and breathes through a respirator with a backpack. Moroff was previously spotted in the new "Rogue One" trailer too. Moroff is a mercenary and is fond of being in difficult situations.

Another "Rogue One" digital card featured the Mon Calamari, although a different variety with pale blue skin. They generally had the same facial features as the red Admiral Akbar. The next "Rogue One" trading card showed Edrio Two Tubes and his brother, Benthic. The egg-mates are tough mercenary pilots from YarTogna. The last shown "Rogue One" card was captioned "Life on Jedha," presenting three pilgrims from the sacred world. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will launch on Dec. 14, 2016.
