"Rocket League" update 1.24 is now finally out and will be available today on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The update comes with underwater AquaDome arena for free, two brand new cars priced at $1.99 each, and seven new Trophies/Achievements. Apart from that, it also offers an all new Champion Series III Crate, which can be unlocked with keys that will support Psyonix's eSsports initiatives, and much more.
Content-wise, some of the things that you can expect from the new "Rocket League" update include the aforementioned AquaDome arena, which is available to both casual and competitive playlists. Uncommon antennas, which include starfish, trident, and harpoon were also added, Playstation Lifestyle reported.
Moreover, six new DLC Decals were also added - Ladybug, Tiger Shark, Crash Drive, Stripes, Cuttle Time, and Fathom for Proteus DLC Battle-Car. Triton DLC Battle-Car, on the other hand, has gotten new six DLC decals as well. These include Ragnarok, Makai, Stripes, Fugu, Modus Bestia, and Daddy-O.
When it comes to painted items, a handful of wheels can now be dropped with the Painted attribute. These include Falco, Alchemist, Octavian, Spyder, and many more, Push Square reported.
Furthermore, seven new trophies/achievements were also added. GG can be achieved if someone wins the MVP award that goes to overtime. Trifecta, on the other hand, is for those who scored a goal, saved a shot, and helped out a teammate in just one game. Other trophies included are Infinite Power, Stopped Cold, Sea Turtle, Get Up Mr. Bubbles, and Rocket Genocider.
After several online matches, the "Champions Crate III" series is now very rare to find. Also, the new Crate highlights a number of new items, which include the Breakout Type-S Import Body. Another new thing about the update is that players that use the Spike power up with a connected ball are now a little bit less agile than before.
