"Minecraft's" very own convention, MineCon, is heading back to the States after a quick sojourn over at Disneyland Paris, reports Joystiq.
"It'll be in the US, that's for sure. It's most definitely in the US. That's all I can say. I would like to tell more, but it's not 100% certain so I can't say anything yet," says Mojang's Director of Fun (what a great job title) Lydia Winters said at a SXSW panel.
MineCons started with humble beginnings in Bellevue, Washington, followed by a much more impressive reception in Las Vegas, so it's only fitting that it head back to the good 'ol US of A.
MineCon's are typically accompanied by announcing massive updates for the game, such as this year's Redstone Update.
Last year's MineCon played host to over 4,500 people, about the same as the year before.
