The upcoming video game, "Red Dead Redemption 2," has been in the rumor mill for a few years now. The rumored sequel of the popular open world, western action-adventure video game franchise has been a subject of several reports and speculations all over the Internet. Although game developer Rockstar Games has yet to provide concrete details with regard to its development and release date, new reports have recently emerged suggesting its upcoming launching.
According to the latest report, the game developer and its parent company Take-Two Interactive are said to be planning on hosting an event sometime in 2017 to launch the highly anticipated video game. Although this has yet to be confirmed by both companies; fans have reasons to believe that next year is the perfect time for the sequel to arrive.
The current speculation started when Rockstar Careers tweeted noting that the company is currently looking for an operation project manager. The tweet specifically stated that the position is for a new project, which many fans believe is "Red Dead Redemption 2." Despite the heavy speculations regarding subject, neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive has issued an official statement.
Meanwhile, According to Tech Radar, "Red Dead Redemption 2" will feature an even larger map compared to its predecessor. If rumors prove to be true, the maps in the game will include the city of Roanoke Valley and the Native American settlement site, Kahuta. The publication also suggested that the upcoming sequel will feature new characters and all of them will have the ability to swim and operate a vehicle in the water.
In another report, an alleged source has revealed that Rockstar Games is currently developing "Red Dead Redemption" HD Remake. The source added that the company is currently in the testing stage already and fans can expect for the title to arrive before the year ends.
