One of Kate Middleton's many adoring traits is her next door appeal, making her look more ordinary than a royalty. This has been proven recently by her mother, Carole Middleton. Just like any other moms, there are times that they unintentionally embarrass their kids and Kate Middleton is no exception. Michael and Carole Middleton royally embarrassed their daughter after selling inappropriate costumes.
Party Pieces Sells Sinister Halloween Costume
Kate Middleton was embarrassed after her parents Michael and Carole Middleton reportedly sold inappropriate kids' Halloween costumes online, Mirror UK reported. Several retailers have been slammed by concerned parents for selling disturbing Halloween costumes specifically targeting youngsters. One of the retailers includes the Middleton's own unique design for the Halloween: a road kill body suit with tire marks all over its body. The inappropriate costume was reportedly sold by Party Pieces, the company owned by Kate Middleton's parents.
In a study conducted by parenting site ChannelMum.com, they found that almost half of the parents believe that children's costumes are too disturbing. Around 14 percent of the respondents believed that Halloween is becoming more sinister each year. While 30 percent believe that the tradition has been lost to kids. Parents expressed their distaste over the sinister across various social media platforms, Daily Mail added.
The Trend In Kids' Halloween Costume
The rising trend of inappropriate kids' Halloween costume includes Jason Voorhees from the iconic movie franchise "Friday The 13th" and Regan from the demonic possession movie "The Exorcist." These costumes are all targeted to 8-year-old kids. If these aren't horrific enough, there are also outfits of a real-life serial killer, Jack The Ripper. Even the Killer Clown craze invades the children's market despite police warnings to avoid joining the crazy trend.
Parents are calling for retailers to take more responsibility for the outfits targeted specifically for kids. Do you think Party Pieces' design is inappropriate for kids this Halloween? Let us know what you think by leaving your comments below.
