Disney continues to keep details about "Frozen 2" under wraps and fans continue to wonder what adventures are waiting for Arendelle sisters Anna and Elsa. The most recent update about the animated film is that Kristen Bell, who voiced Anna, revealed that recording has not started yet. It was stated in a previous report from GamenGuide that the "Veronica Mars" star had mistakenly given information about the sequel's development. Currently, the "Frozen 2" team is finishing up with the script. There are also rumors suggesting that Elsa voice actor Idina Menzel has been sacked and will be replaced by Rihanna.
Rumors suggest that Elsa will no longer be voiced by the Broadway star and she will be replaced by "Work" hitmaker, Rihanna, according to a separate report by GamenGuide. Not only are the rumors pointing to Rihanna as Elsa, but Taylor Swift is also a likely candidate. As to why Idina Menzel won't make it to "Frozen 2" remains uncertain but other reports suggest that she is already busy with her upcoming wedding with fiancée Aarohn Lohr.
Idina Menzel confirmed her engagement to her "Rent" co-star last month in a tweet. "As if this week couldn't get any better I have wonderful news... my man and I are engaged! We are so happy. It's a beautiful time," Menzel said. It is now speculated that she is busy with her wedding preparations and her new life with her soon-to-be husband that her time for "Frozen 2" has been affected. However, none of the abovementioned rumors have been confirmed and Menzel has yet to address rumors.
Meanwhile, "Frozen 2" continues to be rumored to feature a theme of homosexuality, as LGBT groups continue to push for a lesbian Elsa. Disney hasn't confirmed that a gay character will soon be featured in the sequel, but the idea is supported by Idina Menzel and she thinks that it would be great, according to ET Canada. For now, fans will just have to wait for the official details of the plot for "Frozen 2."
