The first piece of ‘Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’ DLC is coming to North America and Europe next week. The VR Missions pack will initially be free for North American Playstation 3 owners from March 12 to April 3, Konami reveals on their Facebook page, though it remains unclear when and for how much Xbox 360 players can get their hands on it.
Players will be able to fight their way through 30 virtual reality missions reminiscent of similar stages in previous Metal Gear games. This is the first of three previously announced DLC packs. "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" villain Jetstream Sam and Raiden sidekick Bladewolf will each feature in their own, story-driven DLC packs to be released at an unspecified date.
The VR Missions pack will release in Europe on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 for 240 Microsoft Points one day later on March 13, according to Eurogamer, which should give U.S. and Canadian Xbox 360 an idea of what to expect when that Playstation exclusivity drops.
