"Madam Secretary" Season 3 will be back after a two weeks lull for Episode 2, promising much excitement to the million followers. The season brings in more challenging adventures to the unconventional and unpredictable character Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni).
'Madam Secretary" Season 3 returns on screen for "The Linchpin" episode. The unstoppable Secretary of State of the US is in the midst of a careful deliberation to execute a change in the Algerian political regime, TVguide reported.
In the process of this careful manoeuvre to promote peace instead of a civil war, "Madam Secretary" Season 3 witnessed the linchpin pulled out. The American Ambassador Roy Curtis (Dakin Matthews) to the embattled country died, leaving Elizabeth in a desperate situation.
Embroiled in this political imbroglio, Elizabeth McCord in "Madam Secretary" Season 3 has to contend with ensuring security of her son Jason McCord (Evan Roe). His laptop was hacked, there were threats that someone is after the family, according to Gamenguide.
Meanwhile, in "Madam Secretary" Season 3, Elizabeth's husband Henry McCord (Tim Daly) is kept busy with his mission in saving the ancient religious relics of Algeria from the hands of the Hizb al-Shahid. At the same time, the McCord's children have their own share of threats of their parents complex lives.
According to some reports, "Madam Secretary" Season 3 will witness Dakin Matthews exit from the series as portrayed in his character's death. Season 3 will also bring in a new cast, Michael Boatman, the "Spin City's" award-winning actor and writer. He will be playing the character of the FBI Director Keith Doherty who will provide security for the McCord's kids.
