‘Rise Of The Tomb Raider’ Latest News & Update: Game Now Out For PlayStation 4; Reasons To Pick It Up Again

This week appears to be quite big for the PlayStation 4 and its patrons as a lot of exciting and new titles have been popping out, one of them being "Rise of the Tomb Raider." This latest game from the Tomb Raider franchise might have taken a while to be released for the PlayStation 4. But reports say the developers have more for them as the game is welcomed to the platform with open arms. While this game had been loved and anticipated since it hails from one of the most respected action-adventure franchises, how has it been for those who have played it so far?

A post from Nerdist gives a comprehensive review of "Rise of the Tomb Raider," which it also reviewed last year and gave it a stellar rating. The game was initially launched in 2015 which was also when some very big projects were launched including "The Witcher 3," "Metal Gear Solid V" and a lot more.

Despite such, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" still managed to outshine these big titles and emerge as one of the top games of 2015 as rated by several unbiased and credible sources. "Rise of the Tomb Raider" was given a 4.5 out of 5 which was mainly attributed to the stunning graphics, engaging storyline and the overall adventure and excitement which the franchise has never failed to deliver.

While initially launched exclusively for the Xbox One, it was then launched for PC players and now that it is out for the PlayStation 4, players are wondering if it is still worth picking up again. It is to be noted, however, that it might not be too late since the release for the PlayStation 4 is done just in time to commemorate the franchise's 20th anniversary in the business.

Business Insider also gave a review about "Rise of the Tomb Raider," which it highly recommends due to several reasons. Among those is that it finds that the game is a unique blend of linear action-adventure sequences and open world questing, which is not a very usual experience. It also reports that the best storytelling in the game is found in the PS4 version, which is called "Bloodties." This in itself could be a great reason to play the game again in a different angle.
