Nintendo has been so silent about providing any information regarding the development and release date of its upcoming console, Nintendo NX. Although the highly anticipated gaming device is said to be scheduled for a March 2017 release, the Japanese multinational consumer electronics company has yet to make an official announcement. However, several reports have emerged online revealing the new gaming console's possible price and its upcoming launch title.
According to a report by Slash Gear, there are speculations suggesting that Nintendo could be preparing for a big release at this moment. The rumor started after a source who claims to be working for a popular retailer says that the store he is connected with has already been receiving pre-release units from Nintendo. If rumors prove to be true, there could be a possibility that Nintendo NX might be released earlier than expected. The source also revealed that in preparation for its official launching in March 2017, several retailers will start to get Nintendo NX units in February.
For now, Nintendo has yet to confirm these reports; however, many fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the company makes an official announcement. It has also been reported that Nintendo NX will arrive with four different classic games including "Mario" and the price will start at $299.99. However, the price may vary depending on the bundle as it may go as high as $399.99; however, no concrete details have been reported yet as to what will be included in the bundle.
Meanwhile, although the new Nintendo NX console has the capability of 4K streaming from various video services, gaming maximum resolution will be restricted to 1080p resolution at 60 fps. Fans are expecting the company to unveil the new gaming system before the year ends and rumor has it that Nintendo will hold an event on Oct 21 to introduce the device.
