It looks like the followup to "Avengers: Infinity War" is already being planned and the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick could be bringing in even more heroes for the epic fight. It has just been confirmed that Evangeline Lilly will appear as The Wasp in "Avengers 4", and Hope van Dyn certainly wouldn't leave Ant-Man behind. But who else will show up to save the world? Is Brie Larson set to debut as Captain Marvel in "Infinity War 2"?
Evangeline Lilly Confirms The Wasp In 'Avengers 4'! Will Hope Van Dyn Meet Brie Larson's Captain Marvel?
The "Ant-Man" star had a simple explanation to why she won't debut as The Wasp in "Avengers 4". Evangeline Lilly stated that Hope van Dyn won't appear in "Infinity War 2" to retain an element of surprise for her own MCU flick.
"She’ll be in ['Avengers 4'] because they really want to preserve that reveal for 'Ant-Man and the Wasp,'" Lilly told Blastr at the recent New York Comic-Con. With that line of thought, it would make sense for Brie Larson to appear in "Infinity War 2" after she debuts in the "Captain Marvel" solo movie. Will MCU's Carol Danvers realize her full potential in the fourth "Avengers" flick?
'Captain Marvel' Confirmed As Origin Story! Brie Larson's Carol Danvers Reaches Full Power In 'Avengers 4'?
Kevin Feige has just confirmed what everyone pretty much already knows: "Captain Marvel" will show Carol Danvers' transformation from regular girl to superhero (via CinemaBlend). Although there is little doubt that Brie Larson's character will get her powers sometime in the MCU flick, there are speculations that Captain Marvel is set to unleash her full force in "Avengers 4". This would certainly come in handy when the superheroes need to save the world.
"Ant-Man and The Wasp" will premiere on July 6, 2018 while "Captain Marvel" is scheduled for release on March 8, 2019. "Avengers 4" will finally hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
