Hello Games continues to sail through rough waters following the disappointing debut of “No Man’s Sky”. With a declining base of players, some were under the impression that the ambitious space exploration game would eventually die a natural death.
Contrary to death, the reality is that Sean Murray and the guys behind “No Man’s Sky” have not entirely given up on the game. As mentioned in a previous post, the game developers are working on a patch that may help address the skidding fortunes of the online game.
The major patch for “No Man’s Sky” which has yet to get a release date will tackle the bugs that most gamers have been experiencing. For most, however, major changes to the game content are equally important considering the 18 quintillion planet dish was nothing more than a recurring scene.
Major patch claims supported by “No Man’s Sky” Audio Director
Hello Games audio director Paul Weir tweeted something that could very well backup the claim of Murray as far as fixing the problems of “No Man’s Sky”. The Hello Games people are preoccupied with a major patch though it would have helped if he shared some details to support that dish. He was likewise clueless on when the update will come out.
Buildings, landscapes and ships coming?
Game stability for “No Man’s Sky” is one thing but the added content seems to be what most want to see. This includes adding structures and ships which could help spur some interest for players who have experienced nothing more than recurring instances.
As mentioned via Reddit, Murray is fully aware of the things he needs to address to check the skid of “No Man’s Sky”. Once that happens, the so-called false advertisements and poor PR strategy can be alleviated. For now, people will have to wait as Murray and the Hello Games try to make “No Man’s Sky” interesting once more.
