Creator Bennett Foddy informs fans via Twitter that the notoriously difficult, borderline unholy online hit "QWOP" is on its way to droid devices, all for the greater good of milking even more frustration out of folks' daily commute.
Control of the game sounds simple enough, with each of the keys controlling the thighs and calves of an Olympic sprinter. It's only when you actually attempt to control your character that you discover just how difficult the game is. This very difficulty helped propel the game into pop culture, earning millions of players, as well as follow up games with similarly hair pulling controls.
Noodlecake has worked on physics based games before, notably "Super Stickman Golf," but it remains to be seen just how the studio will recreate the mad genius source of "QWOP's" popularity, its mind bogglingly annoying controls.
Foddy promises more information will be available soon, and Noodlecake tweeted fans can expect the game on "Android in the coming months!"
