The Marvel Cinematic Universe Facebook page has just shared a cool photo showing Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) all together during the New York Comic-Con. The image immediately had fans wondering if MCU has big plans for The Defenders, who are set to unite in their own Netflix show next year. Does this confirm that New York's finest will join Captain America and the rest of his team in "Avengers: Infinity War"?
Fans Demand The Defenders Should Be A Part Of 'Avengers: Infinity War' After 'Captain America: Civil War' Snub
Fans have long been wondering whether the Netflix/Marvel superheroes will ever cross over into MCU. "Captain America: Civil War" writers Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus have previously confirmed that Jessica Jones and Daredevil did not appear in the film because their shows debuted after the script was completed (via ComicBook).
However, there seems to be a need for The Defenders to join the fight when Thanos arrives in "Avengers: Infinity War". Although there is no final word on whether Jessica, Matt Murdock, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will be part of the film, fans believe it would be a huge mistake to leave the heroes out.
