"Vikings" Season 4 is all canned for its return to the small screen to the delight of the expectant viewers. The second half of the series will continue to portray the adventures of the legendary hero of the Vikings, Ragnar Lothbrock (Travis Fimmel).
The cliffhanger of the first half of the season's finale of "Vikings" Season 4, depict brothers Ragnar and Rollo ((Clive Standen) fighting a bloody battle. According to Australianetworknews, Ragnar lost the battle, Rollo returned to Paris as the victor and ultimately becoming as a Duke of France.
"Vikings" Season 4 is finally back for episode 11 titled "The Outsider". Ragnar returns to Kattegat after several years of a time slip as noted in some reports. His sons are all grown and ready to ascend to the throne he's built out of bloodshed and family sacrifices.
According to reports, Michael Hirst the show creator had unveiled that the second half of "Vikings" Season 4 will be plagued with power struggle within the family. A cycle of supremacy between Ragnar's children will occur as the heirs aspire for the throne.
"Vikings" Season 4 will introduce the grown up Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), the eldest son of Ragnar from his first wife Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick). He will be pitted against his brother Ivar the Boneless (Alex Hogh Andersen), the son of Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland).
On the side, the second half of "Vikings" Season 4, will bring back King Ecbert (Linus Roache) of Wessex and Ragnar having to deal with an unfinished war. The two have to face a battle that would only retain one king of Scandinavia for the next season.
It would not be a long wait for the avid fans of "Vikings" Season 4 as the second half of the series will have its premiere soon in November 30.The success of the series has ensured the shows renewal for 4 seasons and a very recent instalment for season 5 with 20 episodes.
