The team has just added Jason Dohring to the "iZombie" Season 3 cast. The "Veronic Mars" alum has been confirmed to play the recurring role of Chase Graves. Not much is known about Dohring's character but according to Entertainment Weekly, Chase is the brother-in-law of Filmore-Graves founder, Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage, who was introduced in the season 2 finale. Given that Chase is related to Vivian, he is assumed to be in Team Z.
Dohring will make his first appearance as Chase in "iZombie" Season 3 eighth episode, which is titled "Eat a Kinevel." It would be interesting to see what Dohring will bring to the table considering he'd expressed his enthusiasm to play the role of a zombie. Fans will need to wait until 2017 to find out as The CW planned for the series to be a midseason show. Initially, "iZombie's" was believed to air this fall, since the previous season premiered in October, but fans will need to wait for next year for the brand new episodes.
There are already spoilers for the upcoming season and fans are excited to finally see Liv (Rose McIver) back in action. As previously reported, spoilers about Liv's next brain have been all over the Internet and fans take a liking at this particular brain because then they will see their favorite zombie as a dominatrix. Liv will eat the brain of a dominatrix in "iZombie" Season 3 episode 5. The New Zealand-born actress also shared a teaser photo of her dominatrix character.
Liv's relationship is also one of the things that fans are looking forward to in the new season. It can be recalled that Liv's ex-fiancé, Major (Robert Buckley), already joined the Team Z and this sparked rumors that the two will once again reunite because they are now of the same species. Fans rooting for Liv-Major are excited, especially about the possibilities that the two will be back together. It would be high time for them to realize that they are meant for each other since both are now zombies. There are rumors stating that the two might even pick up where they left things off - which means wedding bells could soon be ringing. "iZombie" Season 3 returns to The CW in 2017.
