"Street Fighter 5" may have recently introduced Urien as the final downloadable playable character in the game, but 2017 is another year and a new report has surfaced revealing one of the likely characters to be part of the game. A couple of months ago, an alleged roster for "Street Fighter 5" 2017 DLC has been revealed at Reddit. Posted by ImagesofNetwork, the photo showed six characters rumored to be part of the 2017 DLC lineup.
As seen in the image, Oro, Sodom, Abel, Sagat, Q and Rose are all going to be downloadable playable characters at some point in 2017. Commenters were quick to point out that the image is fake; some believe it had to be fake because there was only one girl included in this alleged lineup. However, EventHubs would like to think otherwise - especially as Oro was included in the list. Oro has only appeared in "Street Fighter 3," but according to the publication, he might make his way to "Street Fighter 5" as a 2017 DLC.
Capcom hasn't confirmed anything yet with regard to the identity of the characters or the number of playable DLCs that will be included in "Street Fighter 5" for 2017. However, it is assumed that the new season will also introduce six characters as there were also six for this year. One of the characters that will most likely make its way to the 2017 roster is Oro, which according to Event Hubs will be possible not just because he is popular but also because of the significance of his story.
Oro has always seen Ryu as the worthy inheritor of his martial arts secrets and he is determined to bring Ryu to his full potential. In "Street Fighter 5's" story mode, Ryu apparently conquered the dark force Satsui no Hado; with that, it could be possible that Oro will soon meet Ryu and recognize his potential. For now, it remains as speculation and fans will just have to stay tuned for more updates to find out if Oro will indeed be part of the "Street Fighter 5" 2017 DLC.
