Cartoon Network recently released a sneak preview of "Steven Universe" season 4 episode titled "Gem Harvest," giving fans a sense of relief amidst cancellation rumors. For the past week, fans fear that their favorite Cartoon Network series will come to an end after it was announced that "Adventure Time" will be ending in 2018. Rebecca Sugar - the series creator of "Steven Universe" - used to be a part of the creative team behind "Adventure Time. With the unexpected hiatus of "Steven Universe" season 4 and the recent news about "Adventure Time," fans were anxious for Steven to return.
Bubble O' Steven -- a fan site of "Steven Universe" -- posted the sneak peek for "Gem Harvest." Fans took this as a sign that the back episodes of "Steven Universe" season 4 will soon air. The 2-minute clip shows Steven running around and getting dirty with Peridot and Lapiz Lazuli as they harvest pumpkins presumably for Halloween.
An Older Steven Comes Back For Season 4?
Other "Steven Universe" spoilers suggest that fans may see an older Steven when season 4 returns. Rebecca Sugar hinted that Steven will grow as the world around him expands with time. This could mean that fans may see a mature and older Steven, Newsarama hinted. More so, Sugar revealed that she has big plans for the fifth season of the show. This prompted many fans to believe that the hit Cartoon Network series may see its end in the fifth season.
