Back in 2015, Google has released the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, which are totally different from what fans have expected despite coming from the Nexus series. Recently however, Google retaliates when the company announced the new Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, replacing the Nexus lineup. With that in mind, consumers are left confused as to what are the differences of the Pixel line from Nexus lineup.
Google Pixel & Pixel XL VS Nexus 6P & Nexus 5X Features
According to IBTimes, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL have rounded corners and aluminum bodies with the exposed antenna lines, making it more look like an iPhone 7. On the other hand, the Nexus lineup features more aesthetic quirks to stand out from the crowd on a busy marketplace.
Both the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL appear smaller with a screen display of 5 inches and 5.5 inches, respectively. The Nexus line, on the other hand, feature a 5.2-inch screen display from Nexus 5X and a 5.7-inch display screen from the Nexus 6P.
The four variants share the same pixel resolution as Google Pixel and the Nexus 5X feature a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, while Google Pixel XL and Nexus 6P have a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. Both Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with a 4GB of RAM, while Nexus 5X is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 and the Nexus 6P is run by the Snapdragon 810.
Both Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL have 32/128GB of storage options while there is a 16GB and 32GB options for the Nexus 5X and 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage options for the Nexus 6P. In terms of camera specs, all four Google flagships also share the same camera features: an 8-MP front camera and 12.3-MP rear cam and an aperture of f/2.0 and optical stabilization.
