"Clash of Clans" developer Supercell has promised that it will be giving its massive player base a better "Clash of Clans" experience moving forward in the advent of "Pokemon Go" (which is already fizzling out faster than it blew up). That promise continues to be fulfilled in this month's upcoming update.
The October "Clash of Clans" patch coming later this month promises, among other things, new upgrades for your units and more options for defensive structures. For example, the update will bring in Hidden Tesla Level 9 and Mortar Level 10 once you reach Town Hall 11, as well as a better X-Bow and 25 more Wall pieces.
Over on the unit side, Baby Dragon Level 5 and Dragon Level 6 will be accessible to players already at Town Hall 11, and those still in Town Hall 10 will be able to acquire Baby Dragon Level 4. Town Hall 10 players can also now get Level 7 Wizards, and Level 6 Wizards for those in Town Hall 9. Supercell has also increased the number of spawned Skeletons in "Clash of Clans" to a maximum of 26.
There are also a number of small but significant balancing changes coming to "Clash of Clans," according to Supercell by way of The Bitbag. Wizards have seen their HP and damage get a minor boost, Level 8 and 9 Mortars no longer deal as much damage as before, the Hidden Tesla will not deal double damage to P.E.K.K.A. anymore, upgrades cost a little less now, and players will get the same war win bonus even if they fail an attack or attack a lower-level Town Hall.
The "Clash of Clans" October update is coming soon, and Supercell will be revealing more changes to better improve the gameplay for players as the month goes on. We'll bring you more information as soon as we get it.
