The Nintendo NX is one of the most anticipated gaming consoles at this moment and it seems like the Japanese company is keeping a tight seal on any specifications regarding the hybrid console. However, recent speculations suggest that Nintendo is planning to unveil Nintendo NX in October as a part of the the 5th Anniversary celebration of Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo NX Launch In Company Event?
According to iTech Post, Nintendo Direct is an online website for the Japanese company and it is celebrating its 5th year in the industry. With that said, it is believe that the Nintendo NX will be released on the said event, which could possibly take place on the last week of October.
The news outlet further reports that an October release has already been a part of the Japanese company's tradition since it first launching in 2011. Avid fans can recall that some of the most popular games, such as "Mario Kart 7" on the Nintendo 3DS, were announced this time of the year. Nintendo has also revealed "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" as well as Wii U updates and the "Super Smash Bros" for the Wii U direct in the month of October.

Meanwhile, Christian Daily reports that Nintendo NX may sport the NVIDIA Pascal Tegra and a potential 4K upscaling along with HDR features. Other than that, Nintendo NX is reportedly a hybrid console, which is a mix of both portable device and a docking station with detachable controllers.
So far, there are no official news about the Nintendo NX other than Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara confirming that Nintendo NX will be a hybrid console. Ishihara also confirmed that the Pokemon Company will develop games for the hybrid console besides "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
