Country singer Blake Shelton and his former "The Voice" co-judge Gwen Stefani can't seem to get enough of each other and the two are reportedly tying the knot this year. However, reports about Shelton's reunion with ex-wife Miranda Lambert are making the rounds and it's not making the "Hollaback Girl" singer happy. The country singers worked together for an album and Stefani reportedly started to feel insecure about the exes being in the same room.
As reported by E!Online, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert didn't hesitate to take on the project that involved other big names in the country music industry. The collaboration was done for the 50th Annual Country Music Association Awards and country artists did a mashup of songs (video below) from John Denver, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton. Gwen Stefanis' beau was even excited about the project. "This is one of those things where you get the phone call ...and I really didn't even ask what the song was. I just said sure, I'd love to be a part of whatever you guys are doing," the 40-year-old singer said. "It's one of those things where you're just honored to be in with accompanying artists."
While Blake Shelton had expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, the same thing cannot be said of Gwen Stefani. According to reports, the former No Doubt vocalist was insecure and a fight between the love birds may ensue. However, it appears that there's no truth to the rumors that Shelton's reunion with Miranda Lambert would affect Stefani.
On Oct. 3, Gwen Stefani celebrated her 47th birthday, posting a photo of herself wearing a tiara. Her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, also sent some love by greeting her on Twitter. Prior to her birthday, the lovers were spotted at Dolly Parton's concert over the weekend, E! Online reported, and it appears that the two are happy -contrary to the rumors that suggest otherwise.
