It's hard to believe that the last "Bill and Ted" movie came out 25 years ago! Now, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are officially set to reprise their iconic roles in "Bill and Ted 3." But while fans are still digesting the good news, Keanu Reeves revealed that the production for the much-awaited third installment has been hard for them.
The two-time travelling doofuses from "Bill and Ted's: Excellent Adventure" and "Bill and Ted's: Bogus Journey" may officially be returning for "Bill and Ted 3" but that doesn't mean that things have been running smoothly. Inquisitr reported that Keanu Reeves (Ted "Theodore" Logan) shared back in 2013 that they have been fighting darkness to push "Bill & Ted 3" through.
"There is [a script]. There's all sorts of stuff and it just can't - it's just - there's darkness out there that's keeping it from happening," Keanu Reeves said. "It's that part of the story where it's looking grim. It's the dark period of the idea!" Talks of a "Bill and Ted 3" movie has been going on for quite awhile. In fact, the third installment of the hit science fiction comedy film has been rumored to be in development for the last ten years or so.
Keanu Reeves teased fans about the third installment of the franchise sharing the plot of "Bill and Ted 3" to Entertainment Tonight. The actor shared that the storyline will be about Bill and Ted trying to save the world. But while they're trying to do that, Bill and Ted will enounter some problems and challenges along the way. Bill and Ted's friendship may also be afftected but Keanu Reeves assured fans that they will enjoy "Bill & Ted 3."
