As far as “The Sims 4” is concerned, attention is on the upcoming “City Living” paid expansion pack set to come out this November. Following that, could there be more content on the horizon?
Not necessarily to steal the limelight for “The Sims 4: City Living”, the fact that the Christmas season is just around the corner spurs up a lot of hope for more content made for the season. But of course, there is Halloween to consider, something happening this month.
For October, expected is “Day of the Dead” which comes with new stuff that would allow “The Sims 4 players to decorate their homes the ‘spooky’ way. That includes wall decors, tables, candles and some sculptures.
Other than that, there will allegedly be interactions with the ‘Grim Reaper’ for the “Day of the Dead” for “The Sims 4”, which should be fitting for the season of the spooks. That said, could something similar happening for the Yuletide season?
The Updated Holiday Celebration Free Pack
Aside from the “Day of the Dead” pack for “The Sims 4”, a previously release free pack is getting some upgrades. This has to do with the “Holiday Celebration Free Pack” which should be perfect with Christmas fast approaching.
Other than that, “The Sims 4” will reportedly have the 9th Stuff Pack out as well before that, meaning “The Sims 4” gamers will have a lot of things to do in the coming months.
Will these help the fortunes of “The Sims” franchise?
With the lineup of added content, it will be interesting if such will help EA and Maxis moving forward. On the balance is the future of “The Sims 5”, something that has been affected by the poor sales performance of “The Sims 4”.
Added content could help but the fact remains that EA and Maxis need to sustain their practice for “The Sims” game franchise. That may still be in 2019 but certainly, something fans want to see.
