"Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" recently showcased a trailer that gave a peek on what's next for the franchise. After a great run of four films, a new villain surfaces-as well as a new possible protagonist.
The entire "Pirates of the Caribbean" saga has gone through multiple adversities in the past-which in real time involves the troubles surrounding Jack Sparrow actor Johnny Depp. Setting such aside, the newest trailer made for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" leads the story further and the antagonist has made a clear statement on who he wants.
According to Slash Film, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" gave fans a blunt, straightforward statement on what is coming for the particular continuity. Simply put, the clip showed a ship being pillaged by what was first unidentified-but soon turned out to be an array of ghostly pirates.
Thereafter, the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" showed the ghost pirates slowly making their way to a cell, holding an unnamed prisoner. Introducing himself is Captain Salazar played by Javier Bardem, asking the said prisoner to send a message to a certain someone.
This said person which Salazar pertains to in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is none other than Jack Sparrow-which leads to the speculation on who the prisoner is. As per Movie Pilot, some factors led to the speculation that this prisoner is the son of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann.
Playing this young man is Brenton Thwaites, whose character is still in question. After some clues prior to "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales," Thwaites said that his character looks to rekindle a connection with David Jones, his alleged father, though a certain curse prohibits so.
It is a confirmed fact that the Thwaites' character is named Henry, but that is all that can be withheld at this point. Another trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is expected to come soon, hoping to learn more of Kaya Scodelario's role as Carina, Will Turner and a new glimpse of Sparrow.
"Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is said to come sometime on 2017. What else can fans look forward to in the fifth movie that the saga has made?
